Gene Burns, M.D.
Dr. Gene Burns received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee in 1991 and he completed his Family Medical Residency at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1994. He provided medical services in Ballinger, Texas and before that in Louisiana. Dr. Burns was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and has raised a family and has grown children. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Medical Association. He has been active in school boards, the school team physician and has played an active role in Samaritan's Purse a non-denominational evangelical Christian International Relief organization.
