Miguel A. Sierra-Hoffman, M.D.
Dr. Sierra-Hoffman has over 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine; Infectious Disease, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care and has been in private practice for over 15 years. Dr. Sierra Hoffman also has experience working in an Emergency Department, General Medicine and as a clinical instructor. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
He received and completed his fellowship program from the University of South Alabama in 2006 in Pulmonary Medicine; his fellowship from the Scott & White Clinic and Hospital / Texas A & M University in Infectious Disease in 2004; his Internal Medicine residency program from Mercy Fitzgerald/Mercy of Philadelphia in 2002; his General Medicine Program from Honduras National Autonomous University in 1991; Transitional Year Internship from Hospital Vicente D’antoni in 1990; and Mandatory Social Science for Emergency Medicine in 1991. He ranked in the 95th percentile in Internal Medicine Certification Exam and ranked #1 in his graduation class of 1991.
Dr. Sierra-Hoffman has contributed to multiple research publications and research poster publications. He also provided lectures in the Infectious Disease Core Curriculum at Baylor Scott and White Infectious Disease Fellowship.
